Root Canal Asleep, which involves deep sedation or general anesthesia, typically lasts for the entire duration of the root canal procedure. The exact length of time can vary depending on the complexity of the case, but most root canal treatments take between 1 to 2 hours.
After the procedure, the sedation effects may linger for a short period, and you’ll gradually become more alert within 30 minutes to an hour.
It’s important to arrange for someone to drive you home after the procedure, as you may feel drowsy or disoriented for a few hours following the sedation.
